Wild Willy Pizza Combo "Uncovered" by Karen Beers

After a hard day of investigating, what better way to discuss the case than with a Nick-N-Willy’s pizza. We have tried other take and bake pizzas, but we love the way the pizza is crispy on the bottom with the Nick-N-Willy’s pan versus the soggy affect you sometimes get with some pizza crusts. When I saw the opportunity to receive a free pizza from Nick-N-Willy’s and all I had to do was write a review, I jumped at the chance.

Wild Willy Combo Pizza after being baked in our oven.
This particular pizza we had not tried before, we usually get the thin and crispy Margherita, but we were open to try a different pizza. This pizza was the “Wild Willy Pizza Combo”. Well, first let me say that this is quite the pizza with loads of ingredients. We chose the spicy sausage over the Italian sausage along with the salami, Canadian bacon, pepperoni, seasoned beef, mushrooms, black olives, green and red peppers, red onions, and Roma tomato slices on top of their tangy tomato sauce. All of those fresh meats and veggies were topped with plenty of mozzarella, cheddar and provolone cheeses. I must say that was one heck of a pizza, and I’m sure you can see for yourself just by looking at the photos that this pizza was not lacking any ingredients.

This pizza is loaded with flavor, which satisfied every taste bud from tangy and spicy to sweet and salty, not to mention satisfaction of the appetite. I must have said, “This is really good” about six times while the two of us devoured the entire large pizza. Yes, I am ashamed to admit it, but we ate the whole thing and to top it off we even had one of Nick-N-Willy’s awesome take and bake chocolate chip cookies. We rolled around for hours after this huge meal, but it was really, really, really good! Nick-N-Willy’s classifies the “Wild Willy Pizza Combo” under the heading “Ultimate Pizzas” and we can certainly see why. It was an ultimate pizza and one we would order again.

Pizza's #1 at Halloween

October is one of the busiest months for us at Nick-N-Willy's Pizza. Our pizza sales tend to spike as we near one of the most popular days of the year for pizza - Halloween on October 31st.

Christmas is traditionally celebrated with ham and Thanksgiving is known for turkey, but when it comes to Halloween many people turn to pizza for their Halloween parties and pre-trick or treating dinner.

The proof is in the pudding (or shall we say, pizza?), it's clear we all LOVE pizza at Halloween, so we decided to come up with some tasty offers to celebrate this "spooky" holiday all month long.

Now until October 31st all Nick-N-Willy's locations will be preparing these adorable Halloween Pumpkin Pizzas. Price is $11.99 for a large pizza or by printing a coupon here they're just $5.00 with the purchase of any large pizza.

From October 29-31st, visit Nick-N-Willy’s dressed in your Halloween costumer and you'll receive a FREE large Halloween Pumpkin Pizza with the purchase of any large signature pizza. Now that's such a good deal, it's almost "scary"!

We hope to see you at Nick-N-Willy's soon!

WALL OF FAME - Nick-N-Willy's Valencia

What do you get when you mix delicious pizza, a worthy cause and an afternoon of fun? The ultimate pizza party, of course! That's exactly what happened last weekend when Nick-N-Willy's celebrated the new ownership of its freshly renovated restaurant in Valencia, California.

Franchise owners, Ray Shirani and Abbas and Sean Moshrefi, along with Nick-N-Willy's President, Richard Weil treated the people of Valencia to an afternoon of free pizza samples, live music and family festivities with face painting, balloon twisting and a pizza making contest just for kids. The contest was a fun (and messy) activity that kids of all ages enjoyed. They were invited to get creative and pick any toppings of their choice to make their own special pizzas. Many of them came up with fun ways to make pizza faces and uniquely cheesy creations. The best part for the kids was eating their delicious personal pizzas fresh from the Nick-N-Willy's woodstone oven.

But it wasn't only the kids who got in on the pizza making action! Local school representatives battled it out in a pepperoni pizza making competition called the Nick-N-Willy's "Compete For A Cause" contest. They tossed, rolled, slathered and sprinkled their way to pizza perfection in what was an extremely close race. In the end, it was the Principal of Rancho Pico High School who reigned supreme, winning a donation of $600 for her school.

Santa Clarita Mayor Frank Ferry also joined in the festivities to officially open the restaurant and present a grand opening certificate to the new Valencia franchise owners. As part of their community giving program, Ray, Abbas and Sean made a special donation to the Firemen's Memorial Fund.

Local radio station KHTS - 1220 AM conducted a live radio remote for part of the day. Announcer, Jon Dell conducted a number of interviews with the franchise owners, Richard Weil, the Mayor and some of the people attending the grand opening.

All in all the event was a huge success and a great way to kick off many more pizza parties at the Nick-N-Willy's in Valencia!
